Malayalam Image Editor now works in the browser.

The web version of Malayalam Image Editor is live. It has been released to a limited group of users for now — designers, shop owners and everyday creators who use the app the most — so we can watch it work in real conditions before opening it to everyone.

Why a limited release

A browser version has to handle the same things the Android app does: Malayalam typing, our font library, layers and exports. Releasing it to a smaller group first lets us find the rough edges with real designs and real deadlines, instead of guessing.

Everything the early group reports goes straight into the build — and it shapes the order in which we finish the remaining work.

The Android app is not going anywhere

The app remains the main way to use Malayalam Image Editor, and it keeps getting updates. The web version is an addition for people who prefer to design on a laptop or desktop — the same Malayalam-first editing, without an install.

Access is being opened in batches. If you would like to be part of an upcoming batch, message us on Telegram at @mie_support and tell us how you use the editor.

The web version is here. We are letting it in a few doors at a time.
